The 9-10 All-Stars played in Dennis the weekend of July 6. They went 5 - 1 for the tournament, losing only in the preliminary round - in extra innings. They played 3 consecutive games on Sunday and won the Dennis Championship by defeating Falmouth 3 - 2 behind the strong pitching of Zack Rivera, Jeremy Bare, and Andrew Ryan in the championship game.
Series MVP went to Andrew Dessert for putting on a strong offensive display and 3 or 4 outstanding defensive webgems - robbing the opposition of sure hits. The Sportsmanship Award was presented to Zack Rivera for his consistent play at shortstop (he also made several great & key plays).
The team played solid defensively for the entire tournament, allowing only 17 runs in the 6 games. On Championship Sunday, only 4 runs were scored against them in the 3 games.
This was a true Team Championship. Everyone either came up with a hit in a key situation or made a defensive play when it was needed. This championship would not have been won without the contributions of the entire team.

The Rochester 10U All Stars won their second straight championship on July14-15th. The bats were hot right through the lineup all weekend! With a great defense behind them, pitchers cruised on the hill, beating Mashpee in the finals, 13-2.
